Description

10m off road race, the first race of the new 2012 Multi Terrain Race Series. If you want to complete the series you have to run a minimum of 6 races (however, there’s no requirement to complete the series and you can enter as many or few races as you like).

This race on Bodmin Moor is organised by East Cornwall Harriers. This “is a challenging fell race of nearly 11 miles in length. It starts from Minions and takes in Sharp Tor, Bearah Tor, Kilmar Tor, the Cheesewring and Tregarrick Tor. It then descends to Siblyback reservoir before starting a slow ascent back to Minions via the muddy marshlands around Great Gimble. All of the route is offroad barring a short stretch of farm road (about a quarter mile in length). ”

Booking a place

Alison Joslin, our GP co-ordinator, will take TRC entries on a Wednesday club night, or via email, which will save you all the form filling! If you book your place through Alison please ensure that she receives your payment (to East Cornwall Harriers) by 14th March 2012. You will need to collect your race number from Alison, or TRC representative, at the TRC registration desk at the race hq 30 minutes before the race start when the desk will close.

Please remember that if you wish to compete in the series you must wear your TRC vest and no MP3 players are allowed.  Regulations state that failure to comply will result in disqualification.
